Carry a reliable Italian-English reference dictionary everywhere you go with the Collins Pro Italian-English Translation Dictionary. This app features dictionary data from HarperCollins in the popular Ultralingua interface. It offers a multitude of features, such as verb conjugation tool, number translator, and a comprehensive collection of entries and translations.

The dictionary section contains over 70,000 entries with 95,000 translations. With the tap-and-hold feature, you can easily hear the pronunciation of any word or phrase using Apple's text-to-speech feature. Additionally, it includes noun genders, slang and technical language, regional differences in spelling and usage, and usage notes for tricky constructions. The smart search functionality ensures accurate results, even if there are spelling errors or typos.

The verb section provides conjugations for thousands of Italian and English verbs, including all standard tenses and forms. It also offers a smart search feature to find infinitives and catch misspellings. This makes it an essential tool for students and language professionals alike.

Furthermore, the app features a number tool that allows you to translate numerals into Italian and English text. There is also a language swapper button that allows you to switch between Italian-English and English-Italian translations. The history button provides access to your 50 most recent searches, allowing you to sort them alphabetically or by date. The app can be used offline, eliminating the need for an internet connection.

This universal app is compatible with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices, allowing you to purchase it once and use it on all your devices. While the interface may differ between devices, the language data and tools remain consistent. Ultralingua offers dictionaries for many other languages besides Italian-English.
